Participation of CARE-C at the 9th World Congress on particle technology in Madrid

Dr. Klito Petallidou, Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the CARE-C of The Cyprus Institute, participated actively at the 9th World Congress on particle technology which took place in Madrid, Spain from the 18-22 September 2022. Every four years, since its inception in 1986, members of the global particle technology community meet to share their latest insights and applications to industrial, academic and social problems. 

Within this framework, Dr. Klito Petallidou delivered a presentation for the Production of mixed Pd, Hf and Ta nanoparticles by atmospheric-pressure spark ablation method. She explained the significant role of electrode configuration in the production rate and chemical composition of Pd-Hf and Pd-Ta nanoparticles.
