EMME-CARE profoundly concerned about #AmazonianRainForest – CURE-3AB
EMME-CARE is profoundly concerned about #AmazonRainforest. A key role in #ClimateChange is played by the #Amazon Basin, as it represents approximately 40% of all #tropical #forests worldwide, making it one of the largest #carbon reservoirs on #Earth. This is why the #Amazon has long been the interest of EMME-CARE and the Atmosphere and Climate Division of The Cyprus Institute, particularly through the “CURE-3AB” Project.
“CURE-3AB: Cooperation to Unravel the Role of Atmospheric Aerosol over the Amazonian Basin” is funded by the Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation (#RIFCyprus) under the RESTART 2016—2020 Programme’s “International Collaborations—Dual Targeting” scheme, as well as by the EMME-CARE Project. CURE-3AB is a close cooperation with the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry and the Universidade de Sao Paulo.
