Dr George Zittis, Associate Research Scientist at CARE-C of the Cyprus Institute, delivering lectures at Limassol schools on Climate Change and Global Warming

In collaboration with the Cyprus Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) and within the framework of the EU-funded project CONNECT (Cyprus ON a mission to Engage, inspire and Connect with citizens through the European Researcher’s Night), Dr George Zittis, Associate Research Scientist at the Climate and Atmosphere Research Center (CARE-C) of the Cyprus Institute, gave two lectures about Climate Change and Global Warming. The visits to Agios Spyridonas and Agios Antonios high schools took place on the occasion, of the World Earth Day celebration, aiming at raising students’ environmental awareness.
