CYTEx Network makes first joint appearance at DOERS Summit 2026 in Limassol 

CARE-C, as part of the Cyprus Teaming for Excellence Network (CYTEx), participated in the DOERS Summit 2026. The event, held in Limassol, Cyprus, on 21-22 May 2026 brought together over 10,000 attendees from the international innovation ecosystem, including founders, operators, and investors.  

CARE-C Research Coordination officers, George Dimoglou and Maria Christodoulou, alongside representatives from the other Centres of Excellence, attended the event, aiming to showcase Cyprus’ research and innovation ecosystem. 

The CYTEx Network is a joint initiative bringing together Cyprus’ seven Centres of Excellence, including the Climate and Atmosphere Research Centre (CARE-C) of The Cyprus Institute. The network was established to strengthen the visibility and outreach of Cyprus’ Centres of Excellence by jointly communicating their scientific activities, technological developments, and societal impact to wider audiences. Through this coordinated presence, the network engaged with stakeholders across research, industry, entrepreneurship, and policy. 

Across the two-day event, CARE-C representatives engaged with multiple participants and had the opportunity to present the Centre’s work and highlight CARE-C’s contributions in atmospheric and climate research.
