CARE-C at the 2026 CleanCloud Assembly

Representatives of CARE-C at the Cyprus Institute, a partner of the CleanCloud project, joined the 2026 CleanCloud Assembly, which took place at Goethe University, in Frankfurt, Germany, on 17-18 March 2026.

During the annual meeting, the project partners discussed the project results so far, including the completion of three field campaigns and two laboratory chamber experiments, the results of their fine-scale simulations and how weather forecast models must include the effects of interactive aerosols to better represent extreme precipitation, and the outcomes of their satellite mission observations.

CARE-C was represented by the Centre’s managing coordinator, Mrs Marina Papageorgiou, and Prof. Nikos Mihalopoulos, who presented updates and future steps for the Dissemination and Communication work package, led by the Cyprus Institute.
