CARE-C leads session at Aerosol-Cloud Interaction Cluster Workshop
The managing coordinator of CARE-C at the Cyprus Institute, Mrs Marina Papageorgiou, participated in the Aerosol-Cloud Interaction Cluster Workshop, organised by the Aerosol-Cloud Interaction Cluster, a collaboration between the European Commission and the European Space Agency (ESA). The event was held at EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne) in Lausanne, Switzerland, on 13-14 November 2025.
Mrs Papageorgiou, as the work package leader for the dissemination and communication of the CleanCloud project, chaired a session on strengthening collaboration across the cluster for joint communications and reaching out to policymakers on priority areas influenced by aerosol-cloud interactions.
This workshop brought together over 100 scientists, both at EPFL in Lausanne and online, from Horizon Europe projects, including CleanCloud and CERTAINTY-ACI, as well as European Space Agency (ESA) projects such as AirSense and Grasp Earth, to agree on further measures for collaboration, which will be carried out by the project partners in the upcoming period.
