Prof. Jean Sciare delivers keynote address at the 13th International Multithematic Bio-Medical Congress.

The Director of CARE-C at The Cyprus Institute, Professor Jean Sciare, was among the distinguished keynote speakers at the 13th International Multi-Thematic Bio-Medical Congress (IMBMC), held at the European University Cyprus in Nicosia from November 6 to 8, 2025.

Professor Sciare delivered a keynote address entitled “Air pollution over Cyprus and the broader Eastern Mediterranean and Middle East (EMME) region: impact on air quality and public health,” as part of the session on New Environmental Realities and Public Health – Global Warming, on 6 November.

The conference was organised by the Cyprus Medical Association (CYMA) and the School of Medicine of the European University Cyprus, under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Cyprus and the Ministry of Health.
